Scallop Pasta Recipes

Scallops are a very popular type of seafood and a reason for this is because scallops are very versatile.

Scallops can be prepared in many different ways, including sautéing, grills, trades-school, cooking and stir-frying. whatever how you choose to prepare scallops, you must take care not to overcook them in order to keep their delicate mesh. Scallops are done when they become opaque, losing their translucence.

Scallops can be used to prepare a delicious pasta or rice dishes e.g.. you can also combine the scallops with
other seafood such as lobster. here you will find good examples:

Scallop Shrimp Pasta Recipe
  
Linguini with scallops, shrimp and Sun-dried tomatoes

Ingredients:
1 pound linguini
1/4 cup olive oil
1 stick butter
4 cloves garlic, minced d '
1 kilo of shrimp, peeled
1 pound of scallops
1 bottle of clam juice
1/3 cup Sun-dried tomato
1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
Rind of 1 lemon removed in strips
Salt and red pepper flakes

Indications:
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.Add linguini and cook for 8-10 minutes or until al dente.Drain.In a saucepan, melt the butter and olive oil.Sauté garlic until tender.Add shrimp and scallops.

Sauté until shrimp becomes pink and scallops are almost cooked about 10 minutes. Add the clam juice, salt and pepper. Add linguini cooked and cook about 3 minutes more. Add tomatoes, parsley, lemon peel and toss the pasta well. Serve immediately.
